Day 11

Today's OOTD: Lane Bryant jeans, a 10 (15?) year old shirt that once belonged to my sister, and the maiden voyage of Tieks Teal! Everyone was telling me they run small, but my 11's fit just fine. 12's were honestly a bit small as they almost weren't too big (but they did slip a little.) Sent back the 12's, kept the 11's and they're perfect! Don't mind the wet hair, I had jumped in the shower this morning, but woke up late and didn't have time to dry it. Oh well. Doctor's appointment - gotta get the lady parts in working order AGAIN - and then grocery shopping.
Anyone have some healthy meal ideas (with recipes preferred) that don't include fish, peas, beans, mushrooms, cantaloupe or "bread carbs"? Husband is allergic to the stuff at the beginning, I am not eating carbs that come from bread foods. Veggie and fruit carbs are ok.  I'm running low on dinner and lunch ideas and getting sick of eating the same things over and over again. We like chicken and red meat is a-ok (doctor approved as I have iron deficiency anemia, and need more iron in my diet. Everyone is always complaining about their doctors telling them to eat less red meat and my doctor is like, um, eat more. And leafy greens, and beans, and things high in vitamin C. And I'm like, I AM but it's not helping! Whatever. I just need blood cuz I'm a vampire apparently.)

Bonus awkward pic!

Bonus delicious!
This is the easiest thing to make but it tastes like dessert on a plate, but it's actually decently healthy if you aren't counting carbs.

French bread sliced and toasted, spread a bit of goat cheese across, add sliced peaches and fresh basil. Honest to god the best thing I've ever had. Make it. You won't regret it.
