Day 10

OOTD: Ballet Pink Tieks, Black Pants with Polka Dots in blush and white, From Torrid. Pale pink shirt with lace drape short sleeves from Lane Bryant. Accessorizing with the black tassel earrings (same as yesterday). And yes, my belt is a hair accessory. Because sometimes the belt looks like a funny bulge under your shirt, and you don't want to tuck your shirt in because that's not comfortable, and so you turn your belt into a cute headband. 🤣😃 It's either creative or insane, and I don't know which, but I like it so that's all that matters. ETA: My pants so need hemmed, which never happens for me. I'm 5'10", so the fact that my pants need taken up is the first time that's ever happened to me. lol.

I got to spend a little time with my sister today. Who agreed to get a new picture of us, but both turned out weird, so we gave up on a good one and settled for the kind of cute ones. lol. She's going through a hard time and applying for SSI for her daughter, and for herself. She looks like she's got it together too, but she's more of a hot mess than I am. (She'd totally agree, so I'm not throwing her under the bus here.) I'm her rock, her buffer and her person who is always there, so I was there for her today when we were sitting in the office giving information, keeping her calm. It's interesting to me how my anxiety all but disappears when I need to help someone else. Afterwards, we went for lunch to calm her down before she went home, and grabbed sister pictures, which I posted for your enjoyment.

The difference between the two pictures is that the last one is really close up of our faces because we were both giggling so hard we barely got the camera in the right spot before it went off. The other is just a bit better of a picture from a tad bit further away.}
